Initiating My Thesis Timeline: Achievement, Milestone, and Deadline Monitoring

Today I will to write about how I have discovered the significance of managing my progress and adhering to the timelines set by the faculty. Among the tools and strategies I rely on, one of the most invaluable resources is the creation of a monitoring board on Miro.
As I commence on this journey, I realise the importance of visualising my progress in a clear and concise manner. The monitoring board on Miro provides me with a visual representation of my thesis timeline, allowing me to see at a glance where I stand in relation to my goals and deadlines. With colour-coded markers, post-its, lines, and progress bars, I can easily track my achievements and identify areas where I may need to focus more attention. Well, or to tel the truth, what I can leave behind for now, which currently is a much better way of looking at it. ;o)
One of the standout features of my monitoring board is its capability to establish milestones and deadlines for every crucial stage of the general thesis writing process. It allows me to deconstruct tasks, requirements, and deliverables into manageable segments, allocating specific timeframes for their completion. This not only fosters organisational clarity but also guarantees a consistent advancement towards my overarching objective. However, the monitoring board lacks a detailed timeframe for the tasks linked to my research. Therefore, I'm developing a separate one, primarily to assist me in overseeing the overall progress. You see, this is the beauty of explorative design—you navigate the journey and find your way while walking. It's about embracing the process of exploration and evolution, where every discovery enriches the journey and leads to unforeseen destinations. If you notice you took the wrong turn, you simply check for the way back or out, allowing for course correction and continued progress.
